Gravy Monster & Cactushead
If you like wah pedals and songs about mexican food
then look no further: Gravy Monster & Cactushead
have a sound that could only be described as
"delightfully awful." From each off-key note to each
unnecessary guitar effect, GM&C are a sure thing if
you're looking to change the way you feel about
beauty. Critics have described them as "The B-52's
and the Proclaimers meet The Eagles." On vocals and
keyboards is Will Turner, the patron saint of untalented
hacks everywhere. Will Jameson, a guitar virtuoso,
lends his talents and songwriting to create the sonic
equivalent of sweet and sour sauce. Keeping the beat
is the mysterious figure known simply as "The Boss."
Some say he is deaf. Some say he is also blind. He
rarely gives interviews but he does beat the skins with
almost robotic precision.

The band formed in 1998 and has released four
albums and various singles and EP's.  On their latest
album "Disappointment," there is a return to the sound
that made them famous on 2002's "The Bartending
Album"  There is an ample mix of guitar-laden
country-rock and a jarring infusion of computer
synthesized funk.  Call your radio station and request
the latest single, "
Tacos In The Corner."
